+ Location

Delegate Workshop will take place at Los Alamitos High School (3591 W. Cerritos Ave, Los Alamitos, CA). Exact locations on the campus will be announced closer to the Workshop.

+ Schedule

Registration Check-In: 8:15 AM – 9:15 AM

Opening Ceremonies: 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM

Committee Session 1: 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Lunch: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Committee Session 2: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Closing Ceremonies: 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM

+ Lunch

A small lunch will be provided for all registered delegates. Please forward any allergy concerns to Benjy Malings at outreach@bmun.org.

+ Advisor Meeting

During our lunch break, we will conduct an advisor meeting that will serve as an open forum about building your clubs and addressing any concerns you have about the MUN circuit as a whole. BMUN's Secretary General will also be present to field questions about our Spring conference.

+ Attire

As with our conference, delegates will be expected to arrive in Western Business Attire.

+ Parking and Transportation

More detailed information about parking will be sent out in the days leading up to conference.

+ Preparation

Because this is a learner's conference, delegates need not prepare for a single topic or produce any position papers. If you'd like to prepare your club for Delegate Workshop, it is highly recommended to have delegates practicing giving impromptu argumentative speeches, as well as to take a cursory look at some of the basic elements of MUN. We will be giving a comprehensive overview of everything you need to know, but it is always good to come in with a brief idea of what is to come.
