INDEPENDENT DELEGATIONS

Q: How do independent delegations register?
Independent delegations follow the same registration link but must indicate that they are registering independently rather than through a school.

Q: Is the process different for independent delegations?
The form is the same, but independent delegations should ensure:

They clearly list their delegation name
They provide advisor information (see Advisor Requirements section below)

ADVISOR REQUIREMENTS

Q: How many advisors are required?
Each delegation must have at least one advisor.

Q: Who qualifies to be an advisor?
An advisor should be:

  • An adult responsible for supervising the delegation

  • 18 years old or older

  • A teacher, guardian, school administrator, or approved responsible adult affiliated with the delegation

Q: Do independent delegations also need an advisor?
Yes. All delegations, including independent delegations, are required to have an advisor.

Q: Do advisors need to be on site during conference weekend?
No, they do not have to be physically present. Each delegation must however provide emergency contact information.
