2026 Fall Conference will take place on November 7th - 8th

Dear Delegates and Faculty Advisors, 

It is my greatest pleasure to invite you all to Berkeley Model United Nations’ sixth annual Fall Conference! My name is Samantha Sirhed and I have the honor of serving as the Secretary-General of FC VI. I am truly delighted to work with the remainder of our secretariat to bring BMUN’s mission for education forward this upcoming November.

Education is one passion deeply anchored in BMUN’s work that acts as the catalyst in our secretariat’s drive. Fall Conference allows this passion to truly flourish, making it more accessible for students to build up skills from public speaking to collaboration, while simultaneously deepening their understanding of international issues and diplomacy. This two-day conference is crisis-focused, yet open to all skill levels, allowing delegates to enrich their ability to think quickly in our fast-paced committees about real-world issues. This style of committee encourages delegates to think critically on their feet, work together to solve problems, and find creative solutions to some of the world’s most pressing concerns. 

Delegates will be challenged to think outside the box over the course of these two days, as they debate how to navigate both historical and future events where every decision may trigger an unwritten outcome. Through their work in our seven committees, delegates will undoubtedly leave the conference having developed a skillset of leadership, global awareness, and problem-solving, which are essential to shaping the next generation of world leaders. Berkeley Model United Nations strives to foster a welcoming and intellectually stimulating environment where every delegate feels empowered to share their voice.
