Dear Delegates and Faculty Advisors,
I am so excited to invite you all to our fifth annual Berkeley Model United Nations Fall Conference. My name is Rhea Master and I have the honor of serving as the Secretary-General of FC V. Much of BMUN’s work centers on our mission to educate, helping students develop skills in public speaking and debate while deepening their understanding of international issues and diplomacy. Fall Conference is a crisis-focused conference for delegates of all skill levels. It centers on fast-paced committees about real-world issues taking place in real-time. This style of committee teaches delegates how to think critically on their feet, work together to solve problems, and find creative solutions to some of the world’s most pressing concerns.
Over the course of two days, BMUN’s Fall Conference aims to challenge delegates to engage in world issues and think critically. Through our 8 committees, students will be able to dive deeply into present and historical conflicts. Delegates will leave the conference having developed leadership, global awareness, and collaboration skills that are essential to shaping the next generation of world leaders. Berkeley Model United Nations strives to foster a welcoming and intellectually stimulating environment where every delegate feels empowered to share their voice. We look forward to welcoming you to our conference this fall. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to events@bmun.org.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Berkeley campus soon!
Sincerely,
Rhea Master
